Makoto Aida

happened to see this book Monument for Nothing in the library.
it was really impressive, from ''the dog '' to '' the mimi girls'' .
but i was especially interested in the HARAKIRI SCHOOLGIRLS PAINTING.
so i started to search the picture to save it in my computer.
the one i read in the book is the right one ( yellowish green background)
but when i search in the internet, i found most of the available pictures are the white ones ( with white background)
what made me feel curious was not which one was the original one
but the comparison of mood by different colors.

for the white one, the painting seemed to be filled by watercolor pencils . the tone is pinky , colorful and optimistic.
on the other hand, the greenish yellow one seemed to be colored by computer software. artificial colors seemed to make it modern, but it made me stressed, matching with this scene.

i am still figuring out why there is such a difference! was it due to the childhood experience that made me believe so? or...
